Terms of Service

1. The service
Alferdize ("Provider", "we") operates the CostPilot AI service (the "Service"): it analyzes cloud and Databricks billing data you connect, and produces cost dashboards, anomaly alerts, savings recommendations, and forecasts. Recommendations are advisory — you decide what to change in your infrastructure, and we make no changes to your systems.
2. Your account and data access
- You connect data sources using read-only credentials you create and can revoke at any time. For Databricks, access is scoped to Unity Catalog system tables (system.billing, system.compute, system.query, system.lakeflow). We do not access business data, notebooks, or code.
- Revoking a credential stops data collection immediately.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the credentials and for authorizing the connection under your agreements with your cloud providers.
3. Fees
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance at the published prices. Pilot engagements are governed by their own signed pilot agreement.
4. Confidentiality
We keep your non-public information confidential and will not name you publicly (logo, case study, reference) without separate written consent.
5. Data deletion
On termination or written request, we delete your workspace and billing data within 30 days.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". Savings estimates are projections based on your billing data and published list prices; realized savings depend on actions you take. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate with written notice. Sections 4–6 survive termination.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
